It was the last month of summer and Mr. Spencer wanted to make sure that he and his partner, Mr. Stryker, take some time for yourselves before September comes. It wasn’t easy to balance their schedules, much less include the two boys they had developed so much affection for: Kai and Milo. Reconciling four schedules was a challenge, but everyone agreed to take a vacation in the last two weeks of August. They had worked hard all year; now, it was time to enjoy life with the same intensity.
